Executive Director of Financial Services / Partner - Ascendo Resources

We are seeking an experienced Execution-Only Trader to join a leading international financial services firm.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in joining an excellent company with career progression, we are seeking a professional with strong technical expertise and fluency in Portuguese, who can execute client orders with precision and efficiency in fast-moving markets.

Your Role:

• Execute client trades across multiple asset classes promptly and accurately, strictly on an execution-only basis (no advisory).
• Monitor markets and trading platforms to ensure best execution and adherence to client instructions.
• Maintain detailed trade records in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with back-office and operations teams to ensure smooth trade settlement.
• Provide high-quality client service in Portuguese and English.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in an execution-only trading role within a brokerage, investment bank, or similar environment.
• Bachelors Degree in Financial or equivalent
• Series 7 is required
• Fluency in Portuguese and strong command of English (spoken and written).
• Solid understanding of financial markets, trading platforms, and order management systems.
• Strong attention to detail, risk awareness, and ability to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and best execution requirements.
