Job Details and Requirements:
Location: Charleston, SC
Education: Pharm.D.
Experience: 1-3 years in a leadership role within a pharmacy setting
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Compensation: $80.00/hour
Background and Drug Screen: Ability to pass background check, health, and drug screening
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with regulations
- Develop strategies to improve services, efficiency, and patient care
- Lead and mentor pharmacy staff
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals for optimal outcomes
- Manage budgets, inventory, and financial reporting
- Maintain quality assurance programs
- Stay updated with pharmaceutical advancements
- Build relationships with healthcare entities and suppliers
- Oversee pharmacy systems and technology
- Ensure proper medication handling and storage
- Participate in hospital and organizational initiatives
- Develop operational policies and procedures
- Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements
- Ensure legal and regulatory compliance
- Manage risk and medication safety strategies
- Oversee staff education and development
- Coordinate with departments for workflow optimization
- Participate in research and clinical trials
- Represent the pharmacy in meetings and forums
