Director of Business Services (CSBO) and Operations
Join the team as the Director of Business Services (CSBO) and Operations at Exceptional Learners Collaborative (ELC), a special education cooperative located in Vernon Hills, Illinois. The ELC serves students with special needs from ages 3 to 22 across eight elementary schools, four junior high/middle schools, and one high school.
Description
- Lead and ensure the fiscal functions of the ELC run smoothly and efficiently
- Participate as part of the district leadership team, focused on the ELC mission, vision, and goals
- Serve as chief financial advisor to the Superintendent on matters related to finance, buildings, and operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in School Business Management, Business Management, or Accounting (CPA preferred), or Education
- Sound overall knowledge of accounting, budgeting, payroll, benefits, and financial reporting, with relevant work experience
- Experience as a Chief School Business Official

Salary & Benefit Information
- Pay ranges from $140,000 to $180,000 depending on education level and experience
- Position is a 12‑month appointment
