Responsibilities

  • Support FEV Business Development in vehicle & powertrain engineering, intelligent mobility, and software development in the automotive market
  • Develop and/or strengthen partnerships with local automotive OEMs
  • Define and execute sales strategies, based on an understanding of the unique challenges faced by our customers under changing market needs in the automotive industry
  • Identify & develop new business opportunities and brand awareness through effective networking, including proactive personal interaction and participation in trade shows, conferences, and exhibitions
  • Support engineering team in identification of customer requirements and development of proposals to meet or exceed customer expectations

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in business development
  • Strong professional network, with connections to US-based automotive manufacturers
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication
  • Self-starter: ability to function in a matrixed, team organization, taking accountability for meeting business objectives with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years’ experience in mobility engineering, with strong focus on engineering services
  • Experience in the sale of services related to powertrain testing
  • Experience in the sale of services related to intelligent mobility technologies
