What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

  • Set the research vision and strategic agenda for the Research Institute, aligning with business objectives and macroeconomic trends
  • Serve as the primary spokesperson for the Institute, translating technical findings into compelling stories for various audiences
  • Lead a team of researchers to produce data-rich insights and media-ready narratives
  • Develop flagship research reports and media campaigns that drive thought leadership
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate research into growth and engagement strategies

What is Required (Qualifications)

  • Proven track record leading large-scale research programs, ideally in economics or labor-related fields
  • Background in economics, math, statistics, or other quantitative disciplines
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly
  • Experience with statistical analysis, data manipulation tools, and data visualization software
  • Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments with a strong executive presence

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Experience serving as a spokesperson and representing research findings to media and policymakers
  • Experience as a published author, regular columnist, or public intellectual
  • Familiarity with partnerships involving academics, think tanks, and industry groups
