Overview

As a Digital Solutions Architect, you will design secure, scalable solutions using Azure, APIs, and modern web tools. You will document and align with company standards.

Responsibilities

• Architecture & Strategy: Design secure, scalable solutions using Azure, APIs, and modern web tools. Document and align with company standards.
• API & Data Platforms: Build and guide development of APIs, portals, and data pipelines. Ensure systems are cloud-native and high-performing.
• Collaboration & Enablement: Work with product teams and developers to deliver features. Lead knowledge-sharing groups and help shape technology roadmaps.
• Governance & Quality: Organize design reviews, align stakeholders, and ensure projects follow architecture standards. Improve practices where needed.
• Thought Leadership & Coaching: Stay ahead of tech trends, mentor teams, and explain complex ideas clearly to business leaders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise software architecture and solution design.
• 3+ years of experience in Azure cloud architecture, including hybrid environments.
• Strong understanding of API-first design, microservices, event-driven architecture, and SOA.
• Experience with Azure Databricks, Data Factory, Delta Lake, Synapse Analytics, and big data tools.
• Proficiency in React, Node.js, Python, Scala, SQL, or other cloud-native development.
• Skilled communicator with the ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• TOGAF® and ArchiMate® certifications.
• Azure Solutions Architect certification (AZ-305 or equivalent).
• Experience in financial services, especially commercial lending or leasing.
• Familiarity with secure coding practices (e.g., OWASP), CI/CD, monitoring, and logging.
• Background in software development and project management methodologies.

Pay & Benefits

Pay Range: Salary Range Between $120k - $150k PA

Pay range will be based on factors including education, experience, location, duties, and certifications.
