We are seeking an experienced Trading Product Marketing- Digital Assets, Senior Manager to lead and drive the strategic marketing efforts for Schwab’s key product offerings within the evolving Digital Assets ecosystem. This role requires a visionary leader who can develop comprehensive marketing strategies, oversee their execution, manage a high-performing team (including a to-be-hired Sr. Specialist), and report on overall business performance. You will shape Schwab’s position in the Digital Assets market, deepen client relationships, and ensure our relevance among highly engaged, self-directed investors.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership & Vision
- Lead the development and execution of end-to-end go-to-market strategies for Digital Assets, ensuring alignment with business objectives and segment priorities.
- Define and champion product positioning and messaging that communicates Schwab’s value proposition to active traders and self-directed investors.
- Mentor and manage a team, including a Sr. Specialist, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
- Drive the evolution of the Digital Assets marketing strategy based on market dynamics, competitive landscape, and client insights.
- Audience Insights & Market Intelligence
- Lead data analysis of audience segments, active traders, and self-directed investors to uncover insights for marketing activation.
- Oversee market trend analysis and competitive intelligence, translating findings into strategic recommendations for leadership and the team.
- Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships and expand Schwab’s market share within Digital Assets.
- Go-to-Market Strategy & Execution Oversight
- Own planning and oversight of marketing plans for new product launches and feature enhancements within Digital Assets.
- Establish and maintain communication channels between Marketing, Product, and Sales teams.
- Coordinate with Retail Acquisition partners to ensure seamless and effective campaign execution and optimization.
- Project & Stakeholder Management
- Manage and prioritize a portfolio of marketing initiatives, ensuring timely execution across cross-functional teams.
- Develop and communicate project timelines, milestones, and dependencies to stakeholders, including executive leadership.
- Oversee marketing updates to Field Enablement to prepare front-line teams for client conversations and resources.
- Campaign Management & Innovation
- Lead design and execution of integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns for active traders and self-directed investors in Digital Assets.
- Develop and review marketing briefs and campaign assets for brand consistency and strategic intent.
- Collaborate with Trader Marketing to ensure Digital Asset plans are integrated within broader client experiences.
- Client Engagement & Advocacy
- Develop strategies to nurture clients through digital asset adoption, highlighting features of interest and pathways to Trader Sales and Service teams.
- Champion client feedback to refine marketing approaches and product offerings.
- Performance Measurement & Optimization
- Establish KPIs and track, analyze, and report on the success of segment-focused campaigns.
- Drive continuous improvement with iterative enhancements based on data and A/B testing.
- Provide leadership with insights and recommendations to inform future investments and strategies.
What you have

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in marketing strategy.
- In-depth familiarity with the Digital Assets/Cryptocurrency ecosystem, including personal investment experience or professional experience in the industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing, leading, and optimizing multi-channel marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Proven experience managing and mentoring marketing teams or direct reports.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable plans.
- Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for influencing senior stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing analytics tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment requiring adaptability.
- Understanding of self-directed investor behaviors and needs.
- Experience with budget management and resource allocation for marketing initiatives.
- Willingness to contribute creative ideas and learn new marketing approaches.
