
Head of Strategic Marketing

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Head of Strategic Marketing to define and execute the company’s growth strategy, shaping portfolio positioning, market development, and brand differentiation in the specialty diagnostics sector. This leader will combine deep market knowledge with commercial and clinical insight to drive product strategy, competitive advantage, and corporate visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead global marketing strategy, including segmentation, targeting, value proposition, and positioning.
- Define portfolio roadmap: assess market opportunities, customer insights, competitive dynamics, and unmet clinical needs.
- Lead and develop internal marketing talent and manage external agency partners, operating as a hands‑on leader who drives execution as well as strategy.
- Partner with R&D and Commercial teams to guide new product development and lifecycle management.
- Develop KOL engagement, and market access strategies to strengthen product adoption.
- Oversee marketing communications, branding, and thought‑leadership initiatives to build visibility and credibility.
- Provide strategic input to corporate development, including M&A and partnership evaluation.
- Track and report on market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity to inform executive decision‑making.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in marketing leadership in in vitro diagnostics, life sciences, or medical devices – IVD experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic marketing, portfolio development, and product launch.
- Strong clinical and commercial understanding of specialty diagnostics.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or related field preferred; MBA or advanced scientific degree preferred.
