Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
Patriot Environmental Services, a Crystal Clean company, is seeking a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to lead financial planning, forecasting, and analytical insights for the Patriot Field Service business segment. This role partners closely with Sales, Operations, Corporate FP&A, and senior leadership to drive financial performance and operational excellence. The Director will own the annual planning process, oversee forecasting tools and financial models, and deliver strategic analysis to support data‑driven decision‑making across the organization.
Financial & Operational Analysis
- Analyze financial and operational results to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Conduct ROI, NPV, and post‑investment reviews for capital projects and strategic initiatives.
- Provide analysis on revenue, cost of sales, operating expenses, and capital spending.
- Partner with business leaders to evaluate cost‑reduction opportunities, process improvements, and growth strategies.
Financial Planning & Strategy
- Lead the annual budgeting, short, middle, long‑range planning process for the Patriot business.
- Oversee forecasting, financial modeling, and enhancements to planning tools and methodologies.
- Develop dashboards, KPIs, and reporting frameworks to improve business performance visibility.
- Prepare and present financial insights to Senior Management and the Board of Directors.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Serve as the primary financial partner to Patriot leadership.
- Drive consistency, accuracy, and continuous improvement across financial planning and reporting processes.
- Provide guidance and structure for financial modeling and planning across the organization.
What We’re Looking For
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline required
- MBA, CPA, or CFA strongly preferred
Experience
- 10+ years of progressive Finance or FP&A experience
- Experience in environmental services, industrial services, and/or complex service business in middle market
- Experience supporting multi‑site or operationally complex businesses preferred
- Strong track record presenting to and influencing senior leaders
Skills & Capabilities
- Advanced financial modeling and analytical expertise
- Deep understanding of operational metrics, forecasting, and budgeting
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Expert‑level Excel skills; strong PowerPoint capabilities
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) a plus
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines

The anticipated salary range for this position is $180,000 - $210,000, and includes benefits such as the following:
