POSITION DETAIL
GENCO Federal Credit Union, located in Waco, Texas, is recruiting for a lending executive to serve as Vice President of Lending. Reporting directly to the President/CEO, the VP of Lending will oversee the loan operations to include consumer lending, mortgage lending, and collections. Responsibilities will include loan production, underwriting, funding, and servicing of loans. This role also focuses on strategically growing the loan portfolio, evaluating how loan products and services are provided, and coaching and mentoring a proven lending staff. The successful candidate will have five plus years of experience leading lending operations for a retail banking institution, experience with consumer, mortgage, and indirect lending, and possess strong analytical skills. Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee loan operations including consumer lending, mortgage lending, and collections.
- Manage loan production, underwriting, funding, and servicing of loans.
- Strategically grow the loan portfolio by evaluating loan products and services.
- Coach and mentor a lending staff to improve performance and service quality.
Qualifications
