Palisades Christian Learning Center (PCLC) is seeking an exceptional Learning Center Director to lead our Christ-centered early childhood program with excellence, warmth, and vision. This leadership role oversees daily operations, staff development, family partnerships, and program quality in alignment with Washington State DCYF requirements and Seventh-day Adventist values.
The Director will support a safe, nurturing, and high-quality learning environment while guiding staff in the effective implementation of the Experience Early Learning Curriculum and Experience God Curriculum. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong leader who is passionate about early childhood education, team development, and faith-based learning.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the daily operations of the learning center
- Ensure compliance with Washington State DCYF licensing requirements
- Supervise, support, and develop staff
- Foster strong relationships with families and the community
- Oversee implementation of the Experience Early Learning Curriculum and Experience God Curriculum
- Maintain a safe, high-quality, Christ-centered learning environment
Salary and benefits are based on the Upper Columbia Conference wage scale and policies.
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field
- Must meet the Washington State Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) director qualifications
- ECE State Certificate or DCYF-approved equivalent verified in MERIT
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in an early learning setting
- Minimum of 6 months of administrative or management experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Commitment to Seventh-day Adventist education and Christ-centered learning
- Must be an Active Member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
