Job Description

The Director, Digital Investment will be responsible for activating B2B digital strategic plan development and all aspects of implementation. This individual will learn and embody Zenith’s vision of Live ROI as a mantra and manage several direct reports.

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning and implementation for client accounts across all channels with an emphasis on digital
  • Plays a leading role in all aspects of campaign management including vendor liaison and reporting
  • Training/Support for Assistant Planners in billing, reporting, trafficking, analytics and research
  • Lead in presentation of data, insights and media to clients
  • Serve as client first point of content on Investment, be able to connect and bring in experts from social and precision teams and work collaboratively to produce holistic plans
  • Intimate knowledge of consumer habits & touchpoints, i.e. digital, social, video
  • Craft knowledgeable and relevant POVs that assess media opportunities and place appropriate value
  • Manage Vendor Billing: insertion orders, monthly billing reports, discrepancy resolution, and reconciliations
  • Assist supervisor in negotiation of Buys, Makegoods, Positioning, Value Add Negotiations
  • Build relationships with vendors to analyze value and applicability of media vehicles for client media plan
  • Create dynamic presentations that effectively communicate to our clients
  • Prepare and deliver buying and digital trafficking specs and guidelines
  • Continuously drive innovation

Qualifications

  • B.A. or B.S. in Marketing, Advertising or related field highly preferred
  • 8+ years of digital media buying experience; with an emphasis on B2B
  • Experience planning digital campaigns, and the ability to confidently present these to clients
  • Must have excellent verbal/written communication skills, interpersonal skills, detail‑orientation, follow‑though skills
  • Must have strong analytical, research, and quantitative skills
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, formulas, v‑lookup, conditional formats, pivot tables, etc.
  • Must possess/develop a strong understanding of the technology marketplace including awareness of key publishers, products and trends
  • Experience with Prisma and experience with Research tools such as Nielsen, ComScore preferred

Compensation Range: $119,500 - $161,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third‑party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
