Are you seeking an employment opportunity where you can support and empower individuals with developmental disabilities to live their healthiest, happiest lives possible? Then we invite you to attend our March open interview day at Easterseals Midwest! Join us for this walk-in hiring event for Community Living Specialists and Community Living Floaters (also known as DSP's or Direct Support Professionals) on Wednesday, March 25th. Feel free to stop by at whatever time is best for you between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM. The event will be hosted at 11933 Westline Industrial, St. Louis, MO 63146. To help speed up the interview and hiring process, please bring the following documents with you: a valid driver's license, proof of car insurance, proof of education (high school diploma or equivalent), and I-9 verification documents (such as a Social Security card, birth certificate, or passport). Have 1+ year of DSP experience supporting individuals who require behavioral support or an RBT background? Ask us about specialized placements with the potential to earn an additional $1$2/hour added to your base pay rate. You will be able to complete an application the day of the event, but for a faster experience, please complete an online application ahead of time and we will work on getting you scheduled for a time to interview that day. Community Living Specialist provides daily assistance and supports for individuals with disabilities living in their home. This position provides support, education and advocacy as outlined in the individual's support plan and ensures supports provided meet organizational guidelines, funder requirements and accreditation standards. Qualifications for this role include: Must have high school diploma or equivalent. Experience providing direct supports to individuals with disabilities preferred. Must have basic computer skills and be able to work with a variety of computer systems.
