Business Banking Loan Assistant
Oklahoma City, OK Onsite Position 6200 Waterford Blvd., OKC 73118 Full Time POSITION SUMMARY Loan Assistants act as a support to multiple loan officers and assist in routine loan administration duties related to consumer and business loans. Performs various support duties pertinent to meeting the needs of our high-profile customers and development of new business through the application and closing process. Provide excellent customer service to both external and internal customers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Assist and support lending staff with daily responsibilities, including overdraft review and customer transactions that include loan advances, loan payments, deposits, account transfers, wire transfers, account maintenance, and other general duties to accommodate banking needs for customers and third-party vendors. Monitor monthly deposit and loan reports such as document exception report, loans coming due report, and loans past due report. Liaison between other departments within the bank to provide excellent customer service Order preliminary title policy, UCC searches, Flood Certificates, environmental reports, and other related data. Coordinate with loan officer regarding issues with the policy, UCC searches, and other credit related reports. Review closing documents against Credit Memo prior to loan funding and ensures all pending/exception items are properly documented. Assist loan closing and execution of loan documents. Administrative Assistant duties and responsibilities include managing Lenders' schedules, coordinating meetings, and handling phone calls/emails. Assist with other job-related duties as requested. Able to perform in a highly sensitive environment and deal with confidential matters. Work well individually and with a team while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong organization, planning, prioritization, and detail orientation skills. Excellent time management skills with a demonstrated ability to work well under pressure, multi-task, follow through on commitments and meet deadlines. Critical thinking skills. Excellent work ethic. Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the job. PREFERRED SKILLS Keyboard skills/40 wpm 10-key Experience within the financial services, loan servicing, banking, real estate, and/or mortgage industries. Knowledge of loan process and loan documentation. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Constant use of computer screens. Ability to operate a computer keyboard, use hand to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk, see or hear. Intermittently standing, stooping, bending at the waist, walking, kneeling or crouching. Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time during the workday.
