Golf Course Ranger/Starter
Salary Range: $15.00 - $16.00 Hourly Level: Entry Job Shift: Any Part-Time Job Opportunity:
Job Summary:
The Golf Course Ranger/Starter is responsible for directing players in the proper manner of play and proper observance of the course rules and regulations. This is an at-will position. Other duties and responsibilities include: Oversee first tee (starting groups, verifying receipts, recording cart numbers) Enforce established rules of course among golfers Manage water coolers on the course Receives and responds to complaints from golfers Responsible for driving, preparing, cleaning, and organizing golf carts for guests Report any golf course maintenance or cart issues to the Manager Attend District-wide part-time staff orientations, crisis trainings and office trainings as directed Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age with knowledge of the game of golf. Excellent customer service and people skills with a courteous and friendly personality is crucial. Ability to learn policies, rules & regulations of the course essential. Schedule & Pay:
This is a part-time, seasonal position. Hours are flexible and include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Anticipated hiring pay range is between $15.00 - $16.00 per hour, dependent on qualifications.
