Sales Support Coordinator

The Sales Support Coordinator is a tactical, customer-facing support role designed to stabilize and streamline post-sale execution during a sales team reorganization. This newly defined role fills a process gap previously managed by Account Managers. As an expeditor, organizer, and operational problem-solver, you will ensure customer inquiries are resolved, orders progress smoothly, and internal teams remain aligned. This high-value support role requires critical thinking, follow-through, and manufacturing awareness. Responsibilities Serve as the first operational point of contact for customer inquiries forwarded by Account Managers. Provide order status updates, delivery confirmations, and schedule changes. Promptly and professionally acknowledge customer requests via email and phone. Support OEM and customer service interactions. Identify delays, gaps, or missing information within orders proactively. Work cross-functionally with Production, Purchasing, Estimating, and Shipping to ensure orders are completed. Utilize the ERP system (Epicor) to investigate issues and track progress. Escalate complex commercial or technical concerns to Account Managers when necessary. Coordinate and enter routine or simple reorders, verifying pricing, lead times, and documentation. Initiate and track RMAs, gather required documentation, and coordinate with Quality and Operations. Communicate resolution status to customers. Maintain clean documentation and notes in ERP, supporting data accuracy and acknowledgments. Participate in ongoing process improvement initiatives. Essential Skills 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, OEM support, or operational customer service. Experience supporting OEM customers. Ability to multi-task and manage multiple open items without losing details. Strong follow-through, organization, and accountability. Critical thinking skills to investigate issues and connect dots. Stable work history. Additional Skills & Qualifications Warehouse expediting or production coordination experience. Prior experience within a manufacturing environment. Comfortable navigating ERP systems (Epicor experience is a plus). Work Environment The role is fully onsite with working hours from Monday to Thursday, 7am-4pm, and Friday, 7am-2pm, with flexibility around start and end times and a 30-minute lunch. The position is not a typical desk job and involves frequent interaction with internal partners.
