Portal Billing Specialist (Contract-to-Hire)

Location: Charlotte, NC (Onsite) Pay: $23$25/hour (up to $26/hour for highly qualified candidates) Benefits: This position is eligible for health, dental, vision, insurance, and 401(K). About Our Client:

Addison Group is partnering with a growing organization to identify a Portal Billing Specialist. This opportunity has opened due to increased business demand and a backlog of invoicing activity. The company offers a collaborative, team-focused office environment and values individuals who take initiative and ownership of their work. Must have portal experience, Ariba, Coupa, etc. Job Description:

The Portal Billing Specialist will support accounts receivable operations by managing invoice submission through various customer billing platforms. This role requires someone who can handle a high volume of transactions, investigate payment delays, and work cross-functionally to resolve billing issues from start to finish. Key Responsibilities:

Process and submit a large volume of invoices through customer-specific billing systems Monitor invoice progress and update statuses throughout the billing lifecycle Research and resolve discrepancies that may delay payment, including pricing or purchase order issues Follow up on rejected or outstanding invoices to ensure timely resolution Communicate with internal departments and external customers to address billing concerns Assist with collections efforts and support payment tracking activities Manage multiple systems and portals simultaneously while maintaining accuracy Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience working with high-volume billing through customer portals Prior exposure to collections or accounts receivable follow-up Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve payment delays Experience navigating multiple systems and handling complex workflows Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with billing platforms (such as Coupa, Ariba, or similar tools preferred) Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Additional Details:
