Serves as a Contact Representative, a beneficiary advocate and advisor providing service and assistance to Military Health System beneficiaries in understanding and obtaining benefits via the TRICARE program. Serves as a Beneficiary Counseling and Assistance Coordinator and Debt Collection Assistance Officer at Naval Station, Oceana, Virginia. Accepting applications from 03/20/2026 to 03/27/2026. Salary: $46,084 to $73,724 per year. Pay scale & grade: GS 6 - 8. Location: Naval Air Station Oceana, VA. This position is not remote and does not require travel. The position is permanent, full-time, and competitive. Promotion potential to GS-8. This position requires a Secret security clearance. Incumbent must comply with seasonal Influenza vaccination requirements. Immunization screening is required, including Hepatitis B for all positions with direct patient contact. This position requires the incumbent to have Tuberculosis testing. This position may require the incumbent to work on call during irregular work hours. This position has been designated Mission Essential. This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter. Moderate to heavy lifting up to 50 pounds may be required.
