Job Description
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
• 7-12+ years of Salesforce development experience with increasing responsibility.
• Deep expertise in:
o Apex (advanced patterns, async, REST services, frameworks)
o Lightning Web Components (modular design, state management, performance tuning)
o Salesforce APIs - REST, SOAP, Bulk, streaming
o SOQL/SOSL optimization
• Strong command over Salesforce data model, security model, sharing rules, and governor limit strategies.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD (Copado, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.).
• Proven ability to lead complex delivery workstreams and collaborate in Agile teams.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
• Salesforce Platform Developer II, JavaScript Developer I, or Application Architect certifications.
• Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, or industry-specific clouds.
• Familiarity with enterprise integration platforms (MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica, etc.).
• Exposure to event-driven architectures and microservices.
• Understanding of scalable data and transaction patterns across large orgs.
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Technical Leadership & Solution Design
• Lead the design of scalable, enterprise-grade solutions leveraging Apex, LWC, Flows, and integration services.
• Translate business requirements into robust, future-ready technical designs and ensure alignment with architecture standards.
• Perform impact assessments, provide technical estimates, and define platform best practices.
• Drive code reviews, enforce coding standards, and guide the development team on design patterns and optimal approaches.
2. Advanced Application Development
• Develop complex Apex components including asynchronous Apex, platform events, stateful batch classes, custom REST services, and reusable frameworks.
• Build highly optimized, secure, and modular Lightning Web Components (LWC) that ensure excellent user experience and maintainability.
• Implement custom logic and automation using combinations of Apex, Flows, and platform configuration.
3. Integration & API Expertise
• Architect and implement integrations using REST, SOAP, Streaming APIs, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, and middleware tools.
• Design scalable integration patterns-synchronous, asynchronous, pub/sub-ensuring reliability, security, and performance.
• Troubleshoot complex integration challenges and optimize API utilization across systems.
4. Core Delivery & Governance
• Lead end-to-end delivery across the SDLC including design, build, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and architects to align on priorities and delivery milestones.
• Ensure development aligns with Salesforce governor limits, security guidelines, and DevOps standards.
• Drive continuous improvement through reusable components, automation, and performance tuning.
5. Mentorship & Cross-Team Collaboration
• Provide technical mentorship, pair programming, and upskilling sessions for junior and mid-level developers.
• Act as a key engineering partner to QA, DevOps, and business teams ensuring smooth, predictable delivery.
• Represent the Salesforce engineering team during technical reviews, architecture discussions, and stakeholder meetings.
6. Documentation & Compliance
• Produce technical design documents, solution architectures, deployment guides, and API specifications.
• Ensure adherence to compliance, audit, and data security standards (including platform encryption policies).
• Maintain high-quality unit test coverage, test automation, and release readiness documentation.
