Basic Function

Job Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree required. MBA strongly preferred

Experience:

15+ years of product management experience in SaaS, proven success managing go-to-market disciplines (e.g. sales, marketing, product management, development, support) and having P&L accountability in a functionally matrixed organization
5+ years’ experience working with Offshore employees for both product management and outsource

Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:

Strong business and financial acumen, able to synthesize complex information and formulate an aligned approach and plan.
Expertise in pricing strategy, revenue forecasting, and ROI-based investment prioritization.
Proven track record of launching and scaling commercial software products, ideally with AI/ML components.

As a Commercial Card Technical Onboarding Consultant Vice President within the Commercial & Investment Bank, you will be responsible for the overall client experience and project management of technical commercial product implementations. You will also partner with client and internal stake holders to help provide a best-in-class experience. You are often the clients first true experience working with JP Morgan Chase.
Job Responsibilities

Own the technical implementations for your assigned clients
Meet and connect with clients through Zoom, and other collaboration technologies
Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners in Relationship Management, Sales, Service, Operations and Product Management

Role Summary

This Vice President will play a key role within the Asset Management marketing team, leading product marketing for equity investments, serving retail and institutional audiences.

The Vice President will partner with client-facing business leaders to harness the top commercial priorities. They will partner with investment teams to define product positioning, develop narratives, messaging strategy and product content. They will work across the divisional marketing team to infuse product-related insights across content creation, digital marketing, paid media, social media, analytics and design to create end-to-end campaigns and programs in service of new product launches and the broader commercial objectives of the business.

Position Responsibilities

Marketing strategy and implementation: Build awareness and affinity for AM’s equity investment capabilities through the development and execution of strategic marketing plans to fuel overall business growth objectives

Product positioning and messaging: Partner with business leaders to understand specific commercial objectives. Ddevelop clear, compelling and unique product messaging and positioning, tailored to various client segments, including financial intermediaries and institutional investors. Ensure AM’s value proposition and messaging pillars are infused through all product marketing assets globally.

Launches and campaigns: Develop marketing plans around new product/fund launches, major announcements, tentpole events and client conferences, as well as partnering with colleagues across AM Marketing to deliver well thought-out, impactful and quantifiable product-specific marketing campaigns.

Content creation: Oversee the development and creation of product-specific marketing collateral (e-mails, presentations, premier publications, webinars, social posts etc.) in partnership with AM’s design team, to communicate the value and benefits of AM’s equity investment capabilities.

Product calendar: Map out a coordinated product-specific calendar that harmonizes with AM’s content calendar and sequences externally published content appropriately and effectively

Sales enablement: Work closely with the product strategy and sales teams to provide training, product collateral, and other resources that help them effectively sell equity products. Act as the point of contact for sales and marketing teams to answer broad product-related messaging, positioning, and collateral questions.

Media: Partner with Media Relations on relevant opportunities that showcase equity investments

Research: Collaborate with divisional and functional market researchers and marketing analytics teams to identify and leverage insights, and monitor performance of marketing efforts

Performance metrics: Track and report on the success of marketing initiatives, utilizing key performance indicators (KPIs) such as product adoption rates, lead generation, client feedback, and marketing penetration.

Risk management: Maintaining strict adherence to regulatory and procedural guidelines for all marketing communications including proactive management of operational risk.

Team effectiveness: Drive operational efficiency of the public market investments marketing team, ensuring they are highly motivated, fully engaged and able to operate at scale.

Partnership and collaboration: Develop and maintain strong relationships with other AMD marketing leaders, EO marketing partners, Corporate Communications, sales and investment heads, and key senior stakeholders across the global organization, ) to engage and drive speed to marketing and commercial impact.

Qualifications

7 years in a similar role within a similar leading financial institution with an outstanding track record with measurable impacts and achievements

In-depth knowledge of the asset management industry: clients, products, regulations, competitors

Ability to present investment views in a thoughtful and well-reasoned manner, synthesize information from multiple sources and develop a clear, compelling story

Well-developed strategic thinking with commercial awareness and business acumen

Demonstrated integrated marketing skills across strategy and execution; ability to leverage subject matter experts throughout broader divisional marketing team in pursuit of effective outcomes

Demonstrable track record of working effectively across matrixed, complex organizations with excellent communication, influencing and presentation skills as well as the ability to engage with partners at all levels

Ability to work at varying speeds and under timeframe pressure, while maintaining extremely high standards
