Marketing Intern
The Marketing Intern assists with marketing and advertising efforts by performing tasks including market research, creating content, managing social media, and supporting event planning, all while learning and gaining experience in the field. Essential Functions: Research competitor and product manufacturer's Instagram content and develop a social media strategy for CM3 on Instagram, including developing 6 months worth of specific content for posts. Collaborate with our Graphic Designer to create visual/video content for the posts. Meet with various internal teams and teammates to identify possible articles for publication on company intranet. Key deliverable: a series of articles (6 - 8) educating teammates about the roles of various departments within the company. Research competitor's LinkedIn content and identify ideas for potential social media posts. Key deliverable: a Powerpoint presentation of competitive LinkedIn posts, organized by industry and theme. Four industries with a minimum of 10 competitive posts per industry. Research product manufacturer's blog/ brochure content and identify potential blogs. Key deliverable: a series of blogs (minimum 12; target 24) that can be published on our website, giving credit to our manufacturers for inspiring/ providing the content. Competencies: Thoroughness. Organization Communication, oral and written Online research Work Environment: This position operates in an office environment. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, bend, crouch, walk, read, count, type and write to accurately complete all documentation. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is an in-office, part-time position, 10 15 hours per week. Seasonal internship: May 19, 2026 August 13, 2026. Travel: Not required - Office based position. Required Education and Experience: Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field of study from an accredited university. Preferred GPA of 3.5 or above Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills Able to work independently and take leadership on projects Comfortable speaking with teammates and stakeholders in person and via Teams, including interviewing individuals for articles and internal content Prior coursework in Entrepreneurship, Creativity, and/or Graphic Design preferred Experience using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
