The Analyst, EPIC Willow is responsible for supporting the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of hospital workflows related to pharmacy management within Epic's healthcare software system. The Epic Willow Pharmacy Analyst role is a full time role that will require flexibility of schedules of working hours. Hours may be subject to change to support the application during upgrades and on call.
Doctorate Degree in Pharmacy, Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Computer Systems, or other related field. Experience working on medium to large size projects of 250-500+ hours Experience working in a Healthcare environment New York State License Pharmacist EPIC Willow Application Certificates in other EPIC Inpatient/Outpatient modules - PREFERRED Knowledge of the client areas function and systems, technology alternatives, and ability to work effectively with client and IT management and staff Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and mange timelines effectively. Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to work independently and as a team member across multiple teams Ability to independently research and perform analysis to resolve complex issues Must be self-motivated, detail oriented and able to manage one's own work independently in a fast -paced environment with changing priorities. Must be able to maintain professionalism and react to customers appropriately while exhibiting the highest level of customer service Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Work PowerPoint, etc.) Demonstrates ability to develop complex specifications for all aspects of applications, and familiarity with problem analysis, hardware/software configurations and application integration
