What does a Vice President, Global Head of Sanctions do at Fiserv?

You will serve as ourHead of Sanctions Compliance. This is a Vice President level position responsible for setting the strategic direction and ensuring enterprise‑wide execution of our global sanctions compliance program. This highly visible role provides thought leadership on sanctions‑related matters, partnering closely with senior executives, global business lines, regulators, and technology teams to uphold the organization's commitment to ethical conduct and regulatory excellence. What you'll do: Define and advance the global sanctions compliance strategy to align with enterprise risk appetite and regulatory obligations. Develop, implement, and enhance sanctions policies, procedures, and control frameworks across products, services, and regions. Oversee the design, testing, and continuous improvement of sanctions screening systems, customer and transaction screening, analytics, and risk modeling. Lead enterprise‑wide sanctions risk assessments and ensure remediation and mitigation strategies are applied by business partners. Manage and develop a team of sanctions compliance professionals, including hiring, performance management, and career development. Allocate resources and set priorities for the sanctions program, including vendor oversight and technology investments. Present sanctions compliance metrics, risk insights, and program updates to senior leadership, board committees, auditors, and regulators. Act as the primary liaison with regulators and external stakeholders on sanctions and export control matters and oversee enterprise training and awareness programs. What you will need to have:

10+ years in financial crimes or sanctions compliance within financial services, fintech, or a multinational corporation. Experience in large, global, matrixed organizations. Experience in global sanctions regimes (OFAC, HM Treasury, EU, UN) and export controls. Experience in sanctions screening technologies, analytics, and risk modeling. Experience leading cross‑functional/global teams and influencing executive stakeholders. Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience. What would be great to have: Master's degree, JD, or equivalent. Professional certifications such as CAMS, CGSS, CRCM, or equivalent. Track record of leveraging technology and innovation to improve compliance effectiveness. How you'll work: This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
