Corporate Paralegal (REIT Experience)

The Position A global alternative investment manager is seeking a corporate paralegal to support high-priority governance and transactional initiatives. This role will focus heavily on corporate governance and board support for public entities, particularly in preparation for an upcoming board cycle, while also providing support on real estate debt investments and financing-related work.

Responsibilities

Preparing and managing board materials, coordinating timelines and documentation for board meetings, and supporting corporate governance processes.

Assisting with entity formation and management, drafting and maintaining LLC and related corporate documents.

Supporting transactional work tied to real estate debt investments and mortgage REIT activities.

Qualifications The ideal candidate has strong experience supporting board processes, is highly organized and deadline-driven, and can operate independently with minimal oversight. Prior experience at a law firm or within a real estate investment trust or similar environment is a strong plus.

Targeting an ASAP start, fully remote, 40 hours per week, for an estimated 3-month duration.

The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $52and $57. This range is an estimate; an employee’s compensation will be based on the employee’s qualifications, skillset, and relevant experience, specific client needs, project requirements, and other considerations permitted by law.
