Territory Sales Representative – Beverage Distribution – Base Salary to 65k/year – Long Island, NY (Field Based)
Join a
long-established, family-owned beverage distributor with over a century of success , representing nationally recognized and emerging brands across Long Island. Known for strong retailer relationships, a respected market presence, and a team-driven sales culture.
This role is responsible for managing and growing an established off-premise territory. The Territory Sales Representative serves as the primary point of contact for accounts, driving brand visibility, executing in-store initiatives, and building strong relationships with store buyers to increase sales performance.
Responsibilities
Manage and grow sales within an assigned retail territory
Build relationships with store owners, managers, and buyers
Identify and open new accounts while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers
Execute product placements, promotions, and merchandising initiatives
Maintain proper product distribution, displays, and shelf positioning
Conduct regular territory coverage and store visits
Monitor inventory levels, stock rotation, and shelf conditions
Execute new product launches, retail initiatives, and promotional programs
Submit accurate daily retail reporting and sales activity updates
Participate in tastings, community events, and brand activations
Communicate territory insights, opportunities, and challenges to management
Qualifications
3+ years of sales, retail sales, merchandising, or beverage industry experience preferred
Strong relationship-building and customer service skills
Ability to work independently while managing a territory schedule
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work actively in retail environments
Strong communication and organizational skills
Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, or Microsoft Office tools for reporting
Must be 21+ years of age
Compensation
Base salary to 65k/year
