Mike's Bikes is hiring friendly and enthusiastic Sales Advisors to connect with customers and share their love of cycling. We're looking for individuals who are eager to create positive experiences for our customers. As a Sales Advisor, you'll bring confidence and know-how to each customer interaction, helping match riders with the perfect bike and gear while delivering exceptional service. You'll also help guide less experienced team members and explore growth opportunities within our Company.
What You’ll Do (and Love Doing)
Ask the right questions and actually listen- our goal is to match each customer with their ideal riding experience.
Confidently close sales by connecting customers to the right products for their goals and riding style.
Use our CRM tool to build and manage ongoing customer relationships.
Take initiative to maintain an organized sales floor, manage inventory, and support team operations.
Stay in touch with your customers and build lasting relationships with top-notch service and follow-up.

Requirements
At least 6-12 months experience in retail or customer-facing roles
A working knowledge of bicycles and cycling gear
Confident in using a POS system, CRM tools, and basic office tech like Google Workspace
Competitive (in a good way!) and motivated by clear goals
Comfort with the physical demands of the role: Lifting bikes, moving boxes, and being on your feet for extended periods
Comfortable chatting with customers in person and on the phone
Handy with tools and able to make small adjustments to bikes and gear
Ability to work cooperatively with a large team
Ability to quickly assess a situation and adapt your presentation style to best address the customer’s needs
Must possess excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to succeed in a goal-oriented, disciplined environment
Position requires standing or sitting in a visible and accessible spot in the store to engage customers when they enter the store
Must be able to move about the store and talk to customers about inventory
Must be able to lift 15-25 lb bikes while standing on a ladder, and descend the ladder with bike in hand
Must be able to type at a computer for brief periods and read the information on the monitor
Must be able to use simple bicycle tools to make minor adjustments to bikes and other merchandise

Qualified Candidates can expect to make bewteen $19 - $23 an hour (or more depending on skills and experience) plus a bi-weekly bonus potential of $250. We offer medical and dental benefits to full-time employees as well as a 401K plan with company matching, and paid time off.
