Job Overview The Account Manager owns business development and territory growth for MediVera Compounding Pharmacy across the Georgia market. This role is responsible for increasing prescription volume, building long‑term provider relationships, and expanding market share among physician practices. You’ll step into a high‑potential territory with existing clients and warm leads, giving you a strong foundation to grow quickly while continuing to prospect and expand. The ideal candidate is experienced in compounding pharmacy sales, highly motivated, and operates with autonomy and strong ownership. This position is field‑based, working from a home office and spending the majority of time meeting providers, prospecting, and visiting medical practices across the Georgia market (ideally based in the Atlanta Metro area with a 2–3 hour geographical radius).
Job Responsibilities
Working your hardest to grow revenue in the assigned Georgia territory by increasing prescription volume for weight‑loss medications and key compound formulations.
Develop and execute a sales plan that reflects discipline and ownership of the territory, including strategic prospecting, territory mapping, and pipeline management.
Manage and expand relationships with existing physicians and clinics, including urologists, integrative and functional medicine providers, weight‑loss clinics, med spas, and primary care offices.
Conduct regular in‑person visits, cold calls, and outreach to establish trust‑based relationships with healthcare providers, demonstrating respect for all, professionalism, and product expertise.
Represent the company at tradeshows, conferences, and community events to expand market presence and promote brand awareness.
Educate physicians on MediVera’s products, compounding capabilities, and differentiators by delivering clear, confident communication and feedback loops.
Maintain accurate and timely tracking of sales activity, performance metrics, and customer touchpoints within CRM tools.
Monitor competitive trends and identify opportunities for growth, embracing a growth mindset and commitment to ongoing learning.
Embrace continuous improvement and demonstrate pride in the quality of the work, the customer experience, and the professional representation of MediVera.
Exhibit positive team spirit by sharing insights, collaborating with peers, and contributing to company culture.
Required Skills and Attributes
3+ years of outside sales experience in the compounding pharmacy, medical, pharmaceutical, or related industry.
Proven success developing a territory from the ground up and growing existing accounts.
Experienced in selling to urology, integrative medicine, endocrinology, OB/GYN, weight‑loss clinics, and med spas (preferred).
Strong outreach capabilities, including in‑person visits, cold calls, email, and trade show networking.
Independent, self‑driven, and highly organized, with the ability to manage a large pipeline and travel extensively.
Ability to develop strong relationships with physician practices, influence decision makers, and navigate multi‑provider clinics.
Must have documented history meeting or exceeding sales targets and earnings of $80,000+ (with the ability to grow into six‑figures rapidly).
Familiar with CRM systems and reporting sales activity and performance metrics.
Ability to operate with professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
