Western Regional Sales Manager Description Our client is seeking a Western Regional Sales Manager to drive sales growth across the aerospace and defense market. You will be responsible for developing new business and expanding relationships with existing customers across the territory, selling highly technical solutions including databus communication technologies, rugged embedded computing systems, and avionics hardware solutions. Reporting to the Director of Sales, this role requires a consultative, technically minded professional who understands complex engineering environments and is comfortable working directly with aerospace OEMs, defense contractors, and engineering teams. The ideal candidate may come from a technical sales, sales engineering, application engineering, or product management background and has experience supporting or leading customer engagements around embedded systems, avionics hardware, or rugged computing solutions. Success in this role requires the ability to manage long technical sales cycles, identify opportunities early in the design phase, and build trusted relationships with engineering, procurement, and program management stakeholders. Western Regional Sales Manager Responsibilities

Drive new business development and revenue growth across aerospace and defense accounts

Identify and pursue opportunities with OEMs, defense contractors, and system integrators

Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing

Build strong relationships with engineering, procurement, and program management teams

Position technical solutions early in customer design cycles to secure design wins

Partner with internal engineering and technical teams to support customer requirements

Maintain accurate pipeline activity, forecasting, and territory reporting

Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows

Travel throughout the territory to develop and maintain customer relationships

Western Regional Sales Manager Qualifications

5+ years of experience in technical sales, application engineering, or product management in customer-facing roles required

Experience with rugged embedded computing or avionics hardware required

Experience supporting long, consultative sales cycles and design-in opportunities required

Ability to travel up to 30% within your territory required
