Job Description
The Adobe AEP Consultant will lead the end-to-end implementation, design, development, and deployment of solutions on Adobe Experience Platform (AEP).
This role focuses on building customer data platforms, enabling real-time personalization, and integrating AEP with marketing and analytics ecosystems.
The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in AEP, data engineering, and MarTech integrations, along with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to drive customer experience initiatives.
Requirement/Must Have
Strong experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) including Real-Time CDP, Journey Orchestration, and Customer AI.
Experience designing and implementing data pipelines using AEP tools such as Data Collection, Data Lake, and Identity Services.
Strong understanding of XDM (Experience Data Model) and data governance practices.
Experience integrating AEP with Adobe Experience Cloud tools (Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Customer Journey Analytics) and third-party systems.
Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML.
Experience with Adobe Launch and Web SDK.
Strong knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and data quality best practices.
Experience
Minimum nine years of experience in digital experience platforms.
Minimum four years of experience in AEP implementation.
Three to four years of hands-on AEP development experience.
Experience working with customer data platforms (CDP) and data management platforms (DMP).
Experience working in Agile environments and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end implementation of Adobe Experience Platform solutions.
Define and implement data strategies for customer segmentation, personalization, and activation.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to align AEP capabilities with marketing and analytics goals.
Design and develop scalable data pipelines for ingesting and transforming customer data.
Design and implement schemas using XDM and ensure data governance and compliance.
Integrate AEP with Adobe Experience Cloud products and third-party systems.
Provide thought leadership in CDP and DMP strategies.
Develop and maintain technical documentation and conduct training sessions.
Provide expertise on APIs and integration strategies.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data integrity and security.
Stay updated with AEP product updates and industry best practices.
Preferred Skills
Adobe certifications such as Adobe Certified Expert (AEP or AJO).
Experience with Adobe Journey Optimizer and Customer AI.
Experience with Web SDK and Mobile SDK.
Familiarity with data privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and DPDP Act.
Experience with public cloud platforms.
Experience using AI-powered coding tools such as GitHub Copilot.
