About The Role The Sales Engineer is responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance to new and existing clients throughout REPAY’s pre‑sales and client implementation lifecycle experience. The Sales Engineer will work with the Sales Team to identify and implement the products and services that create the best solution to meet and exceed the clients’ payment processing business requirements.
Responsibilities
Supporting REPAY’s Sales team through sales presentations and product demonstrations, helping prospects and customers understand what is technically possible with REPAY.
Understanding the customer user requirements and communicating how REPAY can solve their business and technical challenges.
Planning, troubleshooting and executing end‑to‑end integration(s), from a high‑level architecture down to code implementation.
Creating technical content to show customers how to implement specific use cases or best practices.
Educating users and the developer community about REPAY’s value proposition, best practices, and new technical developments.
Maintaining an expertise and depth of knowledge on all REPAY Channels and supporting technology to effectively communicate to internal stakeholders and merchants the functionality and benefits of REPAY’s payments technology.
Skills & Experience Needed
2+ years of technical sales position like Solutions Engineer, Systems Engineering, Solutions Consultant, Sales Engineer.
Strong technical background and ability to understand technical concepts and effectively communicate them to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and propose innovative solutions.
Experience managing workflows, status reporting and client ticketing, with JIRA, Salesforce, or other similar applications.
A team player capable of high performance and flexibility working in a dynamic and metrics‑driven environment. Must be willing to work in a fast‑paced environment.
API technology expertise.
A strong customer‑centric advocate and technical generalist.
Empathetic, collaborative, communicative, consultative, and intellectually curious.
Confident and comfortable with customers and being in a client‑facing role.
