
Lending Specialist

The Lending Specialist serves as a trusted advisor to aspiring business owners, helping them understand their financial position and identify the right funding strategies to achieve their ownership goals. This role blends financial analysis, consultative lending, and relationship management to guide clients through the early stages of the lending process and toward successful business ownership.
What You'll Do
Review loan applications, credit reports, financial statements, and franchise documentation to assess funding readiness and risk Conduct consultations with prospective clients to determine eligibility and recommend short- and long-term funding strategies Educate clients on lending options, requirements, timelines, and next steps Partner with franchise consultants, franchisors, and referral sources throughout the pre-engagement process Communicate loan decisions clearly and professionally, including denials or unqualified determinations Manage complex or time-sensitive lending situations with sound judgment and empathy Collaborate closely with internal Lending Operations and support teams Maintain accurate activity tracking in Salesforce and meet defined performance metrics Deliver a consistently high level of customer service and professionalism What We're Looking For
High school diploma required Experience or knowledge in lending, banking, SBA lending, or franchise finance preferred Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Confident communicator with a consultative, client-focused approach Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) Performance Expectations
Conduct multiple client consultations on a daily basis Meet or exceed engagement and conversion benchmarks Additional Requirements
Willingness and ability to travel as needed
This is an in-office role in our Fort Worth office to start. Hybrid option may be available at the conclusion of the training period.
