We're hiring a
Senior SQL Database Analyst
to join our team in
Richmond, VA . This role offers a hybrid schedule, with 1 week in the office and 1 week remote.
Skills & Qualifications:
5-7 years of experience as a SQL DBA Enterprise-level SQL database administration experience with SQL Server on Windows operating systems, including but not limited to data migration, data replication, user administration, and database backup and recovery Solid understanding of SQL Server internal architecture Hands-on experience with SQL database installation, upgrades, and migrations SQL Server database administration experience with version 2012 and above Experience with:
PowerShell script programming to automate routine DBA tasks Managing availability groups, replication, and stand-by configurations Migration of on-prem SQL databases to Azure
Key Responsibilities:
Manage, install, and maintain SQL Server environments Support large-scale database operations and testing efforts Work closely with teams to evaluate database performance and stability Assist with migrations and upgrades from older to newer SQL Server versions Contribute to potential on-prem to cloud migration initiatives Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation supporting a large SQL environment Education/Certifications:
High school diploma or equivalency
The hourly rate for this position is $53.52.
