Tax Analyst

Responsibilities
Kforce is currently partnering with a large corporation in Grand Rapids, Michigan that is searching for a Tax Analyst to join their team on a direct perm basis. This role will follow a hybrid schedule. Job Duties include:
Reviewing federal and state corporate income tax returns for accuracy and completeness
Partnering with external service providers to manage compliance deliverables
Serving as a key resource and guide for our tax preparers, offering mentorship and support
Responding to audit notices from various tax authorities

Requirements
Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
3-5 years of direct corporate tax experience is required
Experience with S Corp, C Corp, Partnerships and state and local tax returns
Direct corporate tax experience is required
Federal, state and local tax experience is required
International corporate tax is a plus
CPA is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
