Your next role as a Miracle Maker Maravai LifeSciences is seeking a #MiracleMaker to join our commercial team as a Distribution Sales Manager. As a Distribution Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market share through strategic distribution and channel partnerships. Reporting to the SVP of Global Sales, this role develops and executes channel strategy, manages distributor performance, and cultivates strong relationships with regional and global distribution partners supporting life sciences, diagnostics, OEM, and therapeutic markets. The position serves as the primary liaison between internal teams and external distribution partners to ensure alignment, forecasting accuracy, and sustained commercial performance. A successful candidate will combine commercial strategy, channel enablement, technical expertise, and market intelligence to accelerate indirect sales growth, optimize distributor effectiveness, and expand product adoption across assigned markets.

How you will make an impact:

Develop and execute a comprehensive distribution and channel strategy aligned with revenue and growth objectives.

Manage and grow relationships with domestic and international distribution partners to drive indirect sales performance.

Establish joint business plans with distributors, including revenue targets, territory focus, promotional initiatives, and pipeline development.

Monitor distributor sales performance, pipeline activity, and forecasting through CRM tools to ensure data‑driven decision‑making.

Train and enable distribution partners on product portfolio, value proposition, and competitive positioning across mRNA, enzymes, oligonucleotides, bioconjugation, and related platforms.

Collaborate with Marketing to implement channel‑specific campaigns, promotions, and educational initiatives to increase product awareness and adoption.

Identify new distribution opportunities, evaluate potential partners, and support onboarding and contract negotiation processes.

Provide voice‑of‑customer and channel feedback to Sales Leadership, Marketing, and R&D to inform pricing, positioning, and product development strategy.

Partner cross‑functionally with Customer Service, Planning, Operations, and Finance to ensure efficient order fulfillment and high distributor satisfaction.

Represent the organization at industry events, distributor meetings, and strategic reviews to strengthen brand presence and channel engagement.

Perform other functions and duties as required.

The skills and experience that you will bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genomics, or related life sciences discipline with 5 years of commercial sales experience in biotechnology, genomics, biologics/CDMO, or related sectors.

Demonstrated success driving revenue growth through distributor or channel partner networks.

Strong technical acumen in mRNA, enzymes, oligonucleotides, bioconjugation, or related advanced biologics platforms.

Experience developing joint business plans, managing partner performance metrics, and supporting complex sales cycles through indirect channels.

Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) with strong forecasting, pipeline, and analytical skills.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills, including experience engaging executive‑level distributor stakeholders.

Self‑motivated and effective in remote, cross‑functional environments.

Willingness to travel up to 50% for distributor meetings, customer visits, conferences, and internal planning sessions.
