Summary The System Director for Graduate Medical Education (GME) Research is a senior leadership role reporting to the Chief Academic Officer and is responsible for overseeing the strategic, operational, and compliance aspects of Lee Health's system-wide research across the enterprise GME programs. This position ensures full accreditation of all GME programs, drives excellence in academic training, and advances research initiatives aligned with organizational goals. The director will collaborate with clinical, academic, and administrative leaders to foster a culture of education, innovation, and scholarly activity across the health system.
Requirements Education:
Masters degree in healthcare administration, Education, or related field required, Doctorate preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 7 years of progressive leadership experience in academic medicine, GME administration, or research management. Demonstrated ability to lead complex programs, manage budgets, and build collaborative relationships.

In-depth knowledge of Academic General Medicine Education accreditation standards and medical research compliance regulations. Strong communication, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills. Ability to foster innovation and continuous improvement in academic and research programs.
