Job Summary

The Associate Director, Site Direct & Programmatic Media will play a pivotal role in supporting and growing Moroch Digital Solutions’ direct-IO and self-serve media practices. Reporting into director-level leadership within both practices, this role is responsible for shaping the channel strategy and execution of digital media campaigns to ensure best-in-class performance and activation across their assigned accounts.

This position is designed for a well-rounded digital media leader who thrives in a hybrid environment and is comfortable balancing strategic oversight with hands‑on expertise. The Associate Director will interface with junior‑to‑senior level internal teams and client stakeholders, translating business objectives into integrated media strategies while ensuring operational excellence across both site direct and programmatic practices.

In addition to campaign leadership, this role is responsible for team leadership, mentoring team members, improving processes, and contributing to the advancement of both media practices through innovation, automation, and thoughtful application of AI and ad technology. This is an exempt position.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Account Ownership

Lead the development of integrated site direct and programmatic media strategies aligned to client business objectives and KPIs

Serve as a senior point of contact for assigned accounts, guiding strategy, performance discussions, and channel recommendations

Translate client goals into actionable, channel‑specific approaches, ensuring alignment across planning, buying, and measurement

Partner with Planning, Account Management, and Analytics teams to ensure programmatic and site direct efforts are fully integrated within broader media strategies

Contribute to new business efforts and new account onboarding

Campaign Oversight & Performance Management

Own performance outcomes across assigned accounts, ensuring site direct and programmatic campaigns deliver against client KPIs and business objectives

Lead performance strategy and optimization direction, guiding teams on prioritization, test design, and optimization approaches across channels including display, video, CTV, audio, and native

Oversee campaign execution through Managers and Buyers, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and adherence to best practices

Establish and administer performance standards, holding teams accountable to pacing, delivery, and financial accuracy across campaigns

Provide senior‑level guidance on complex campaign structures, measurement strategies, and optimization challenges, serving as a key escalation point for performance‑related issues

Reporting, Insights & Measurement

Translate complex data into executive‑ready presentations, clearly articulating performance drivers, optimization strategies, and forward‑looking recommendations

Oversee team development of reporting deliverables, ensuring insights are strategic, actionable, and aligned to client objectives. Ensure consistency and quality in reporting outputs across both site direct and programmatic channels

Partner with Planning, Ad Ops, and Analytics to ensure robust tracking frameworks, data integrity, and measurement alignment across all campaigns

Partner with Anal to enhance reporting outputs, including dashboard development, data visualization, and automation of reporting processes

Build and maintain strong relationships with site direct vendors, DSP partners, and ad tech platforms

Evaluate new media opportunities, vendor partnerships, and platform capabilities to drive innovation and performance

Drive the testing and adoption and integration of AI tools, automation, and emerging technologies into campaign workflows

Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and quality assurance through process improvements and technology solutions

Stay current with industry trends and proactively share learnings across the team and across the agency, setting an example for digital evangelization

Manage and mentor Managers, Buyers, and junior team members, supporting both performance and professional development

Provide guidance on campaign execution, reporting, strategic thinking, and client communication

Foster a collaborative, high‑performing team environment that emphasizes accountability and continuous improvement

Lead hiring, onboarding, and training initiatives across the team

Act as an escalation point for campaign, client, or team‑related challenges

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and 6+ years of experience in omni‑channel digital media planning and buying, including both site direct and programmatic channels

Demonstrated leadership experience of at least 3+ years managing accounts and mentoring team members

Experience in B2B, Healthcare, and/or QSR/Restaurant verticals is a plus

Strong hands‑on expertise with DSP platforms (The Trade Desk preferred) and skilled knowledge and practice with direct‑IO media buying processes.

Prisma experience a plus. Must also be comfortable with campaign management systems (CM360) and reporting tools (DOMO, Placer, etc.).

Deep understanding of tracking methodologies, ad servers, attribution models, and measurement best practices

Proven ability to present to clients and lead performance discussions with confidence and clarity

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients, campaigns, and deadlines simultaneously

Experience with or exposure to AI tools and automation within digital media workflows a plus

Location

This position is open to remote candidates. Dallas‑Fort Worth–based employees will have the option of a hybrid in‑office working environment.

Travel for internal, vendor, or client meetings may be required up to

15–20%

of the time.
