About the Role As our Founding Market Launcher, you’ll own the process of launching new markets for Lando — from understanding who makes after school decisions at a school; to partnering with PTAs, principals, and school administrators so families understand the benefits of our programs; to getting the first group of schools off the ground.

Responsibilities

Own Pipeline & Prospecting:

Visit 35+ target schools a week, keep meticulous notes in our CRM, and ensure that administrators and district staff know who we are—even if they’re not ready to host our classes yet.

Launch New Markets:

Help identify the right local decision makers, understand how after school enrichment decisions are made and how new classes get approved, and get the first classes live.

Develop a Scalable Launch Process:

Develop a trackable method for prospecting, closing, and onboarding schools that can be replicated as we expand. As we grow, you will help sales reps ramp twice as fast.

Collaborate Across Teams:

Partner with product and teaching teams to onboard new schools smoothly, collecting feedback for continuous improvement.

Educate & Present:

Fully understand Lando’s offerings and the local after school landscape, addressing any concerns from administrators with clear, concise solutions.

Qualifications

1 to 3 years in quota-driven roles, startup growth, or other high ownership environments, with a strong history of exceeding quotas and outperforming peers.

Confident communicator comfortable engaging principals, teachers, and PTAs, both on-site and in presentations.

Strong closer who thrives in fast-paced, goal-oriented environments—you’re excited to not just run a playbook but help build a localized version of one

Passion for education or youth enrichment (volunteer tutoring, camp counseling, etc.) is highly desirable but not a requirement.

Commission: Uncapped ($20,000–$50,000 expected)

Unlimited PTO (with a recommended minimum of 2 weeks)

$1,000 equipment credit + top-of-the-line MacBook Pro (or equivalent)

Reimbursed for travel

Comprehensive benefits: Medical, dental, vision, life, long-term disability, and 401(k)

Location & Travel You’ll be based in Salt Lake City, visiting local schools regularly, while also traveling often to launch a second market, with frequency depending on traction and company priorities. You should expect occasional trips to Palo Alto, CA for key meetings.
