Position Overview OBCO Chemical is seeking a high-energy, results-driven Territory Sales Representative to expand our footprint in the ware‑wash and chemical programs sector. In this role, you won’t just be “selling chemicals” – you will be providing a full-service sanitation solution. You will be responsible for hunting new business, managing existing accounts and ensuring that our leased dish machines and chemical dispensing systems are operating at peak efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development:

Identify and close new sales opportunities within the foodservice, hospitality, and healthcare industries (restaurants, hotels, schools, etc.). Identify, qualify, and close high‑value accounts within assigned territories. You will manage the full sales cycle from cold‑call prospecting to final implementation.

Program Management:

Sell and implement comprehensive

Ware‑wash and Laundry Programs , ensuring customers have the right chemical concentrations and titrations to ensure optimal cleaning results and cost efficiency.

Equipment Leasing:

Promote and manage our

Dish Machine Leasing Program , guiding customers through the benefits of our equipment solutions. Consult with clients to determine the best equipment solutions for their volume and facility layout.

Technical Service:

Perform emergency repairs on dispensing equipment (training provided).

Consultative Selling:

Conduct “Kitchen & Laundry Audits” to demonstrate cost‑savings, safety improvements, and superior cleaning results to prospective clients.

Relationship Management:

Maintain high retention rates by providing exceptional customer service and regular site visits.

Route Management:

Strategically manage your daily schedule to maximize client facetime and minimize travel downtime within the Greenville / Columbia metro area.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience:

2+ years of successful B2B sales experience (Prior experience in chemical sales, JanSan, or the Foodservice/Hospitality industry is a major plus).

Technical Aptitude:

Mechanically inclined; comfortable using basic tools to troubleshoot dispensing pumps and commercial dishwashers.

Communication:

Strong presentation skills with the ability to negotiate with business owners and executive chefs alike.

Self‑Starter:

Proven ability to manage a territory independently and hit monthly growth targets.

Requirements:

Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record (this is a field‑based role).
