Role Description This is a remote, unpaid internship role for a UI/UX & Web Design Intern. You will play a key role in shaping and optimizing the digital experience for LXN Creative and its clients.
Responsibilities
Assisting in wireframing, prototyping, and creating user‑friendly layouts
Designing responsive website pages that balance aesthetics and usability
⚡ Optimizing site performance for fast load speeds (image compression, code cleanup, etc.)
Conducting usability testing and gathering feedback to improve designs
Supporting SEO‑related web design enhancements (site structure, metadata, accessibility)
Staying current with design and optimization trends on WordPress and Flothemes
Professional Development Opportunities (Included with this Internship)

Strong communication and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and remotely

Current or former student in Graphic Design, Computer Science, Communications, or related field
Familiarity with Figma
Knowledge of responsive design and web accessibility standards
Skills in UI/UX design principles (wireframes, mockups, prototyping)
