Role Description We are seeking a full-time Truss Designer to join our team at our St. Joseph, MN location. This on-site role involves designing and creating truss layouts based on architectural drawings and specifications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards. The Truss Designer will collaborate closely with customers, architects, and engineers to provide innovative solutions that meet project requirements. Support may also include providing technical assistance to customers and internal teams, while ensuring timely delivery of projects.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Truss design and Timber specifications
Ability to interpret and create Architectural Drawings
Experience in Customer Service, with a focus on collaboration and communication
Knowledge of Structural Engineering principles, with experience in applying them practically
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in relevant design software and tools such as CAD, or Alpine.
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is a plus
Previous experience in truss or building materials design is preferred
