The United Methodist Credit Union is looking for an individual to meet a need we have in our Finance and Operations area. The bulk of the responsibility is within the finance area overseeing several high-level accounting functions, as well as performing periodic reconciliations, creating monthly financial statements, and generating other reporting as needed. The individual would also oversee the accounting clerk with respect to the credit union’s daily bookkeeping tasks. This individual would also be involved in some operational areas and problem resolution.
This can be either a part-time or full-time position depending on the candidate’s skills and experience. The position has excellent benefits and reports to the CEO. This is an in-office position based in Richmond (though some functions may be done remotely). Prior experience with credit unions or banking is required.
