
Industrial Designer

This role is for an Industrial Designer to join our studio and support the development of custom fixtures, furniture, and object-based design elements for retail and experiential environments. This role reports to the Senior Industrial Designer and collaborates with cross-disciplinary teams to translate conceptual direction into technically resolved, fabrication-ready designs. The ideal candidate combines strong form development and material sensibility with technical rigor, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced studio environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the design and development of custom retail fixtures, furniture systems, and bespoke spatial elements from concept through fabrication.
Translate creative direction into detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and presentation materials.
Develop material palettes, finish specifications, and hardware strategies aligned with the overall design direction.
Produce fabrication-ready drawing packages including plans, elevations, sections, and details.
Coordinate with fabricators and vendors to review shop drawings, prototypes, and samples.
Participate in prototyping, testing, and value-engineering exercises while maintaining design integrity.
Contribute to internal design research, mockups, and iterative development processes.
REQUIREMENTS
Proficiency in 3D modeling software Autodesk Fusion, rendering software Keyshot, and Adobe Suite.
At least 1-3 years of working experience in industrial design, furniture design, or custom fabrication environments.
Experience producing detailed fabrication and construction drawing sets.
Experience in retail, hospitality, or experiential environments is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Clear communication skills and comfort working directly with vendors and fabricators.
