We are seeking an experienced

Mortgage Loan Processor

to support our mortgage lending team by managing residential real estate loans from application through closing. This role is responsible for ensuring loan files are accurate, complete, compliant, and closed on time while delivering a strong, service-focused experience to our members.

This position is best suited for a processor who is comfortable owning their pipeline, communicating proactively with members and internal partners, and working within established credit union policies and regulatory guidelines.

What You'll Do

Process first and second mortgage real estate loans, including purchase, refinance, cash-out refinance, home equity, and home improvement loans Review loan applications and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance Review Desktop Underwriter findings and underwriting conditions and work proactively to clear outstanding items Maintain ongoing communication with members regarding documentation needs, timelines, and next steps Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, title companies, attorneys, appraisers, and other vendors to support timely closings Prepare and disclose Closing Disclosures in accordance with TRID requirements, reconcile fees, and support funding activities Assist with closing, funding, post-closing, and related administrative tasks as needed Follow all internal policies, procedures, and applicable federal and state regulations What We're Looking For

Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Mortgage Loan Processor At least 5 years of overall mortgage lending experience Working knowledge of conventional mortgage loan processing from application through closing Ability to manage multiple loans simultaneously while meeting deadlines Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through Professional, clear, and member-focused communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment Systems & Tools

Experience working in a mortgage loan origination system (LOS) required;

Calyx experience preferred Proficiency with standard office technology and Microsoft Office tools Additional Qualifications

Must be able to register with the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) Bilingual Spanish is a plus Occasional schedule flexibility may be required during peak volume periods Compensation & Work Environment

This position is

hourly

and includes a

performance-based incentive plan

tied to production, quality, and timeliness. Compensation is aligned with experience and role expectations and is designed to reward consistent, high-quality performance.

Most mortgage loans are retained within the credit union's portfolio, supporting a more relationship-focused and service-oriented lending environment.
