We are seeking a dynamic Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will focus primarily on selling our new construction insulation services. This role involves building and nurturing relationships with clients, sharing insights about our industry-leading services, and ensuring customer satisfaction from job quoting through to review collection and beyond.
Performance Insulation & Energy Services is a family‑owned business and has been a leading provider of insulation services in the Pacific Northwest for over a decade. We specialize in delivering high‑quality new construction services to our valued clients.
Your Duties Will Include The primary function of this role is to promote and sell our insulation and related construction services to builders, general contractors, and occasionally, homeowners. You’ll think customer first. You will help find prospects, build and nurture relationships, understand customer needs, and ensure their satisfaction throughout their engagement with us.
Build and maintain a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads
Communicate with customers and leads to identify their needs and propose products and services to meet them
Demonstrate the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs
Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolve any issues that may arise post‑sale
Maintain communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest
Maintain detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problem
Process Energy Trust of Oregon incentive paperwork as needed
Meet with field supervisor and weatherization crews when needed to provide scope of work guidance and answer jobsite questions
Follow up with customers to request online reviews and referrals
Price projects in company job quoting and estimating software
Attend company trainings as necessary
Other duties to be assigned when deemed necessary by manager
Job Requirements
SAFETY‑SENSITIVE POSITION
– Work in a construction environment, with and around insulation of all types
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Excellent sales and negotiation skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Ability to function well in a high‑paced and at times stressful environment
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Preference Given
Associates degree in related field preferred but not required
Fluent in both English and Spanish preferred but not required
Experience with insulation or construction company a plus
Medical, dental, & vision, and supplemental insurance benefits (eligible to enroll first of the month following date of hire)
401k profit sharing available (must meet plan requirements)
