ABOUT NUUDS nuuds is an apparel brand on a mission to make women feel confident. We sell direct-to-consumer through our Shopify storefront and through wholesale partners including major retailers. With thousands of SKUs, 10+ manufacturing partners, and multi-channel fulfillment, our operation is complex and growing fast.

DESCRIPTION We’re looking for a Director of Operations to own the full operational engine at nuuds—across ecommerce, wholesale, and retail. This person will manage our 3PL relationships, oversee inventory and fulfillment across every channel, and ensure that the business runs smoothly from purchase order to customer doorstep.

This role reports directly to the COO and carries significant ownership. The right person is proactive, resourceful, and thrives in a fast-moving environment where no two days look the same.

RESPONSIBILITIES 3PL & Fulfillment

Manage day-to-day 3PL relationships—hold partners accountable to SLAs on accuracy, ship times, and cost

Own the end-to-end fulfillment process for DTC, wholesale, and retail channels

Troubleshoot fulfillment issues in real time and drive root-cause resolution

Evaluate 3PL performance and lead transitions or expansions as the business scales

Inventory & Supply Chain

Maintain accurate inventory across warehouses, 3PLs, and retail partner locations

Coordinate inbound shipments from manufacturing partners and manage receiving workflows

Monitor stock levels and collaborate with planning to prevent stockouts and overstock situations

Own inventory reconciliation between NetSuite, Shopify, and warehouse systems

Wholesale & Retail Operations

Manage wholesale order fulfillment including retailer compliance, routing guides, ticketing, and labeling requirements

Ensure EDI transactions and retailer integrations run cleanly

Coordinate with retail partners on purchase orders, ASN scheduling, and chargebacks

Ecommerce Operations

Ensure DTC order flow runs seamlessly from Shopify through fulfillment and delivery

Optimize shipping methods, carrier selection, and cost management

Partner with customer experience on order issues, returns, and exchanges

Process & Systems

Use NetSuite as the operational hub for managing workflows, reporting, and data integrity across modules

Build and maintain SOPs for critical operational processes

Identify inefficiencies and lead continuous improvement across the operation

Managing vendor and technology partner relationships to support operational infrastructure

REQUIREMENTS

7+ years in operations, supply chain, or fulfillment management, ideally in apparel, fashion, or consumer goods

Direct experience managing 3PL relationships and holding logistics partners accountable

Strong understanding of wholesale operations including retailer compliance, EDI, routing guides, and chargeback management

Hands‑on experience with ecommerce fulfillment (Shopify preferred)

Working knowledge of NetSuite or a comparable ERP

Proven ability to manage inventory accuracy across multiple channels and locations

Sharp problem‑solver who stays calm under pressure and acts decisively

Strong communicator who can work across teams and manage external partners effectively

Experience in a high‑growth environment. Familiarity with EOS. Background managing both DTC, wholesale, and retail simultaneously.
