Seeking a
National Account Executive
to drive sales growth and strengthen distribution relationships within the independent marketing organization (IMO) channel. This position is ideal for a relationship-driven sales professional with strong annuity expertise who thrives on developing producer networks, supporting advisors, and executing strategic growth initiatives.
This role will focus on expanding distribution, recruiting new annuity producers, and supporting existing advisors through education, training, and strategic marketing initiatives.
What You’ll Do As a
National Account Executive , you will build and manage relationships with IMOs, agents, and advisors while executing strategies that drive premium growth and long-term business retention.
Responsibilities
Achieving sales and premium growth targets through strategic relationship management with IMOs and producers
Developing and executing revenue growth strategies across the independent distribution channel
Recruiting and onboarding new annuity producers while supporting and expanding existing relationships
Educating agents and advisors on product features, benefits, applications, and compliance requirements
Hosting training sessions, webinars, and promotional seminars to drive advisor engagement
Collaborating with marketing teams to develop campaigns, sales initiatives, and product launches
Proactively contacting advisors to communicate product updates, rates, and new opportunities
Acting as a liaison between advisors and internal departments to resolve product or process issues
Analyzing competitor activity, market trends, and demographic data to identify new opportunities
Tracking sales activity, meetings, campaigns, and opportunities within the CRM system
Partnering with leadership and internal teams to support retention strategies and long-term growth
Preparing sales reports and maintaining strong product and industry knowledge
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
7–10 years of experience in financial services sales, distribution, or relationship management
Strong experience working within the
IMO / independent distribution channel
Demonstrated success building sales relationships and expanding distribution networks
Strong knowledge of
annuity products and advisor distribution models
Proven ability to recruit, develop, and retain high-performing producers
Strong presentation and public speaking abilities
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Experience working with CRM systems and tracking sales activity
