Position Summary

Thecemetery sales manageris responsible for overseeing sales operations for designated memorial parks, driving pre-need and at-need sales, managing the sales team, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires ahighly motivated sales professionalwith leadership capabilities to develop and execute sales strategies, foster client relationships, and manage cemetery expenses, including labor and overtime costs. The Sales Manager is expected to work bothon-site and remotelyand must be able to adapt to a dynamic, client-focused environment. OTE for thisposition is $80,000-125,000. The cemetery sales managerreports directly to their designated executive regional manager, and is required to obtain his/herapproval for all necessary authorizations, including but not limited toovertime, scheduling, and operational decisions. Sales & Revenue Generation

Drivepre-need and at-need salesof cemetery properties, merchandise, and services. Meet and exceed monthly and annualsales goals and bonus targets. Educate families on the value ofpre-planning cemetery arrangementsto ensure informed decision-making. Manage the completesales cycle, from prospecting to closing, while maintaining accurate sales records. Ensurepricing integrityand adherence to all company policies and regulatory guidelines. Customer Relations & Community Engagement

Build and maintainlong-term relationshipswith families, funeral homes, and community organizations. Actively participate incommunity outreachprograms to promote cemetery pre-planning services. Address and resolvecustomer concerns or complaintsin a professional and compassionate manner. Operational & Financial Management

Ensure all sales activities align withbudgetary goals and cost control measures. Monitor and manageovertime costs, ensuring approval from yoursupervisorfor any overtime hours. Maintain accuratesales records, contracts, and customer agreementsin compliance with company policies; retain client information in confidence and preserve privacy of sensitive client financial account information. Regularly assess sales trends and develop strategies toenhance revenue and operational efficiency. Oversee and manage operational tasks for the location. Compliance & Timekeeping

Adhere to allcompany policies, state laws, and federal regulations, includingFLSA requirements. Accuratelyclock in and outfor all work hours, ensuring full compliance with timekeeping policies. Work only duringapproved hours, securing pre-approval for any personal or direct reportovertime requests. Ensure that all transactions and customer interactions aredocumented properlyand meet regulatory federal and state requirements. Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Requirements

Provensales experiencein a quota-driven environment. Strongleadership and mentoring abilities. Excellentcustomer service and communication skills. Ability to work withgrieving familiesin acompassionate, empathetic, and professionalmanner. Proficiency inCRM systems, contracts, and sales reporting. Must have avalid driver’s licenseand reliable transportation. Experience with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office programs. Ability to navigate email and to create and manage documents. Preferred but Not Required

Experience incemetery, funeral, or pre-need sales. Prior experiencemanaging a sales team. Work Schedule & Expectations

This is afull-time position (40 hours per week). Effectively manage your schedule and the schedules of your direct reportsto avoid unnecessary overtime. All work-related activities must be logged by clocking in/out for all work hours. Unauthorized overtime is not permitted and could result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
