Join Our Team as a Senior Principal Solutions Architect!
Are you ready to shape the future of the Media and Entertainment industry? As a pivotal member of our team at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), you will take on the exciting role of Senior Principal Solutions Architect for Media Services. In this position, you will lead the charge in cloud-native innovation, driving the adoption of OCI through the design of impactful solutions and the mentorship of junior architects.
Your expertise in media workflows, specifically in Broadcast, along with your deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, will be instrumental in accelerating customer migrations and enhancing OCI's position in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical leadership as a subject matter expert in cloud solutions for M&E, guiding ISVs and customers in best practices for OCI integrations and performance enhancement.
Architect and document valuable, repeatable solutions, including IP transformation, remote production, and complete end-to-end pipelines using OCI services and partner technologies.
Lead technical collaborations with strategic ISVs to ensure their solutions are fully optimized for OCI, addressing complex integration challenges.
Collaborate with the Strategic Customer Engineering and sales teams to design and implement mission-critical workflows for enterprise clients, facilitating successful large-scale migrations.
Mentor junior architects and participate in internal enablement initiatives to promote consistency in solution design.
Act as the Voice of the Customer by providing feedback to OCI product teams, influencing product roadmaps to address critical gaps.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 8 years in technical roles such as Solutions Architecture, Consulting, or Engineering, with proven expertise in media workflows (broadcast, production, distribution, or gaming) and cloud infrastructure.
Demonstrated proficiency with OCI, AWS, or Azure, especially OCI; advanced knowledge of compute, storage, networking, security, and hybrid/multi-cloud architectures.
Hands-on experience with M&E technologies (e.g., media codecs, transcoding, storage systems, DRM, CDNs) and familiarity with key ISV solutions in the field.
Strong leadership presence; capable of influencing stakeholders, mentoring peers, and building consensus among engineering, product, and sales teams.
Exceptional problem-solving skills; proficient at troubleshooting cross-stack issues and crafting robust, high-performance cloud solutions.
Outstanding communication skills; able to convey complex technical concepts to executives, engineers, and creative professionals effectively.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

The hiring range is between $96,800 to $251,600 per year, with eligibility for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral based on individual skills and experience.
