Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Maitland, FL, for a Wellness Director. The Wellness Director will oversee health and wellness programs and initiatives to support the well-being of residents. Daily responsibilities include managing wellness services, budget planning, staff training and development, and promoting effective communication between residents and team members. The role requires collaboration with other teams to ensure excellence in care and the implementation of wellness strategies aligned with company values.
Qualifications
Strong Communication skills to effectively convey information, provide updates, and collaborate with residents, families, and team members.
Health & Wellness expertise with knowledge of wellness trends and practices in senior living or healthcare settings.
Experience in Budgeting and financial planning to manage department resources effectively.
Proficiency in Training staff on wellness programs and related practices to ensure implementation of standard procedures.
Passion for promoting Wellness and quality of life for residents in a senior living environment.
Prior experience in a leadership role in a health or wellness-related field is beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Health Sciences, Gerontology, or Healthcare Management is preferred.
