About The Role Through a variety of activities, provides clients with pre-and-post placement support to assure successful long-term employment.
Key Responsibilities
Works with client and community contacts to maximize employment potential.
Assists clients with learning procedures for employment and developing appropriate co-worker/supervisory relationships.
Provides client with Job Development, Placement and Retention goal information along with benefits of employment.
Works with clients and referring sources in setting attainable employment goals.
Evaluates and interprets vocational potential via referral information, medical and psychological background to assist with recommending placements, vocational needs, employment potential, and to assist with sustaining long term employment.
Conducts group activities, i.e. job club, job interviews, etc.
Works in cooperation with vocational staff and clients to assure that employment needs are met by proper matching of clients with jobs/employers to assure successful employment; performs follow-up activities to ensure employment longevity.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience: 1-3 years experience with job placement, recruitment or workforce development
